I would assume the financials tell a good portion of the story. Tracey did you want to report what we had done with a judge for next year?

As everyone knows the cost of getting an AQHA Novice judge is what sinks us at this show. Tracey and I felt if we jumped on a local judge now for next year it would help us.

I have spoken with Gretchen Mathes about being our judge. She was going to pencil us in pending the dates of the Big A show next year.

Do we know the potential costs of Gretchen for next year? Just so we have an idea what we would have to cover?

I will ask her - i know her daily charge for clinics and such is $600.

Gretchen's judging fee is $550 for a 10 hour day - $50 an hour for any hours after 10 hours.

Plus mileage and meals?

She didn't say specifically but I would assume so. She is going to talk to Geno and see if she can commit. It's the Redbud show, not the Big A that could interfere...but she said she doesn't go to all the days so it may work out.

But even with mileage and meals, she is going to be almost $1000 cheaper than what we paid for this year's judge between her fees, travel, hotel, etc.
